Permutation MT R


Short name: r

The R measure is the same as the R-square measure but it is not squared. It is the sum of the absolute differences from the average between permutations. The partsweights returned are the absolute differences from the average

Supports: One p-value, One weight, Parts-p-values, Parts-weights

Usefull as a general-purpose measure. It works well with different types of normalized input. It rewards data that is more different from the average with a higher one-value score. It is well suited for finding significance in a permutation-test for data that is not particularily skewed (skews are no problem but they are not rewarded extra as such) but different from average on overall
