Permutation MTR SquareShort name: rsquare The R-square measure is a free interpretation of the measure with the same name used by Kessler in his The Significance of Word Lists. It is the sum of the squared differences from the average between permutations. The partsweights returned are the sqared differences from the average Supports: One p-value, One weight, Partsweights, Parts-p-values Usefull as a general-purpose measure. It works well with different types of normalized input. It rewards unevenly divided data and data that is highly different from the average with a higher one-value score. So it is perfectly suited for permutation-tests that try to find significance in skews within the data |
