Sections

The Section-system of LogiLogi is based on the principle of aliasses, and thereby it has overcome the problems of separating page-sets that would otherwise have resulted from the section-principle.

For example links to SectionS from pages in whatever section, wil automatically link here, unless these sections contain a SectionS-page themselves.

If more than one target for an AliaS exists, the postition in the section-tree will determine what page it will link to. A link from a page in SecT1/NuT/ will be directed to the links target in SecT1/ rather than to a target of the same name in /, /PlacE/ or SecT1/Nut/NaT/, although this last one will take precedence if there should exist no suitable target-page in SecT1/

An other aspect of sections is that they have their own MenuList, WhiteBoard, and NewsPage. Adding links in MenuList, will make them show up in the left menu. The WhiteBoard is included below the main-page of the section, and it could be used for the more permanent news-messages. NewsPage is what it's name suggests. All text in there will be parsed to the right of the mainpage of the section as (yes!) news ;)

If the news-page remains non-existent, the newspage of a near section will be displayed instead.

As a last note: Use TailPages instead of SectionS whenever you need a simple order in your information. Sections should only be used for considerable user groups that need to keep their data more or less separated from the rest.
